Fairfax Viewing Platform Project Update

Stunning sandstone is featured throughout the new Fairfax Viewing Platform currently under construction at North Head, Manly.

The project site spans the cliff edge along the Fairfax Walk, part of the North Head Sanctuary – a place of significance for the Traditional Owners, the Gayamagal People.

Our team are working carefully and respectfully to configure the large stone blocks into the desired vision at this well-visited destination.

The nature of the location creates some constraints, with the elevated headland fully exposed to the elements (sometimes with high wind and lashing rain) and limited access for moving materials in and out.

Despite the challenges, our construction team and subcontractor partners are progressing well, and we look forward to sharing more updates on this landmark project.
