Small beginnings and big dreams. That’s how Matt Glascott started The Glascott Group. His vision for the business was a reflection of his love of the land.
Matt comes from a long line of farmers and graziers. His country-born and bred parents instilled in him a passion for plants, trees and responsible management of the land. Matthew’s dad, Joseph Glascott, was the Sydney Morning Herald’s first Environment Writer and reported on Australia’s biggest environmental issues in the 1970s and 1980s.
In 1989, Matt founded Glascott Landscape and Civil. He started and acquired other businesses along the way, including Marsupial Landscape Management. Matt is passionate about the environment and dedicated to his vision of creating quality open spaces that leave a lasting legacy.
The Glascott Group was founded on core values that we call ‘The Glascott DNA’. Our values – Integrity, Commitment, Real and Inclusive – are our guiding principles. They represent who we are and what we strive towards every day.
Aligned with our core values, we aim to leave lasting legacies for the communities where we provide our landscape construction and maintenance services.

We also partner with clients, suppliers and industry bodies to provide landscape services for non-profit organisations. We’ve helped build and enhance community gardens and playgrounds, residential gardens and environmental parks.
