Glascott Landscape and Civil have worked closely with Bayside Council to construct the new accessible and inclusive adventure play space at Sir Joseph Park to the desired vision.

Glascott Landscape and Civil have worked closely with Bayside Council to construct the new accessible and inclusive adventure play space to the desired vision.

Bayside Council undertook extensive community consultation to design the new playground based on feedback and ideas from local children. Stage 1 is a new accessible and inclusive adventure play space in a natural setting and caters to children aged 2-12 years of all abilities, with a Junior Zone, Senior Zone and Play Tower, a double Flying Fox, shelters, picnic areas, and a lookout over the park.

The new play space opened recently to the public, with the remaining Stage 2 – the upgrade to the existing playground due to be completed in Winter. Our team is working diligently to ensure that each aspect is consistent in quality and stakeholder expectations, with the newly expanded play footprint serving the Botany Bay community and visitors well into the future.
