A new place to study or unwind at The University of Queensland

Following our work on the synthetic Sports Field surrounds at The University of Queensland, we are back to deliver another project for the students and staff to enjoy.

The University’s new forecourt construction began in December 2019, and aims to provide a safe, durable, and quality open space situated in the busy University grounds.

Throughout the process, our team worked collaboratively with students and staff, as well as many contractors on site to deliver works simultaneously. Due to the challenging nature of the confined forecourt our team worked closely with The University to overcome constraints related to access and programming.

The new courtyard provides inclusive street furniture for students and staff to enjoy among the green spaces situated around the adjacent paved path surrounding the buildings.

Glascott Landscape & Civil worked closely with the University and its stakeholders to deliver this important project safely and efficiently, adding to our portfolio of quality works completed projects in the education centre of Queensland.
