Post Construction Maintenance: University Of Queensland Forecourt

Following an upgrade by Glascott Landscape and Civil, Marsupial Landscape Management provided warranty maintenance comprising 26 scheduled visits to the active campus.

The area receives a high traffic flow and can be impacted by the shade cast by the surrounding buildings. The maintenance scheduling and techniques were modified around these challenges to mitigate risk and maximise growth.

Access was challenging due to the surrounding buildings and the many students and staff utilising the space.  There was no parking near the site so everything must be brought in and out so. Marsupial’s services were scheduled to maximise each visit and the contract value.

The new landscapes provide appealing surroundings for staff and students, enhancing the increased capacity in the main eating forecourt.  The grass and seating areas provide a retreat and harmonious balance between the built and natural environments.
