Our focus on health and well-being continues with recent MATES in Construction General Awareness Training for staff and subcontractors at our Regatta Park & Gipps Street Recreational Precinct sites in Penrith NSW.
The teams learned about mental health in the construction industry (including startling statistics) and suicide prevention, such as noticing changes in behaviour in workmates and actions we can take if we think someone needs help.
Aligned with our Mental Health Action Plan, this training helps to foster open communication about mental health issues, normalising struggle and taking appropriate action.
