Another 5 years as stewards of the M5 South-West Motorway

Interlink Roads has engaged Marsupial Landscape Management for a further 5 year to deliver landscape maintenance along the M5 South-West Motorway.

After 10 years at the site, Marsupial is delighted to be continuing their work with Interlink Roads. The renewed contract sees them providing roadside vegetation maintenance along the 22km motorway.

Marsupial has 6 full time staff continuously delivering maintenance. Along with the regular services like mowing, whipper snipping, spraying, collecting litter, maintain fencing, tree pruning and planting, they are also responsible for incident response and emergencies reporting, and taking care of small details that are fundamental in the daily operations of the M5.

Marsupial’s Infrastructure Contracts Manager, Mr Gavin Meharg, says his team understand the nuances of working on a major motorway,

“We are very happy to be continuing our work at the M5. Our in depth knowledge of the operations means we can deliver our services efficiency while also identifying potential hazards and issues outside of our scope of works.”

Marsupial has established a solid footing in road networks. Their infrastructure portfolio includes landscape maintenance contracts at a number of major motorways, ports and utilities across New South Wales and Queensland.
