Glascott Landscape and Civil constructed a Chinese Garden at The Lakes College in Brisbane’s north, providing students with a cultural eating area, tranquil learning area and unique play space.

The scope of works included softscapes, block walls, some softfall surfaces, colourful timber pergolas and concrete seating, sandstone blocks and swales, and boardwalks.

Students are navigated to walk along the stepping stones and across the bridge interacting with garden elements; rocks, trees, flowers and winding paths. And when it rains, the rock work creates small ponds adding to the tranquilly of the environment.
