In the early 1920s, bushland on Sydney Harbour was converted into a coal loading facility. Fast forward to the early 1990s, the site was decommissioned and in 2003 North Sydney Council started working towards transforming the disused industrial site into a sustainability centre and public open space.

Glascott delivered two stages of the development including the final Greenroof project which saw extensive structural rehabilitation work, restoration of heritage elements, installing sustainable technology and services and hard and soft landscaping. Completing a full circle, the site is now an innovative and award-winning public park and entertainment venue.
