Cravens Creek Ponds is at Denman Prospect, Canberra’s newest residential community at the time,
The project facilitated the construction of a water quality control pond to treat the urban stormwater runoff from Denman Prospect before it reaches the Molonglo River.
Bringing experience in identifying and understanding environmental impacts, Glascott’s Canberra team undertook sensitive works around protected habitat areas. Planting along the water’s edge supports the water quality while protecting the surrounding ecosystems. Along with improved water, the ponds attract birds and other native animals and provide a beautiful recreation area.
