Project Win – Mcllwaine Park Foreshore Upgrade

We are thrilled to announce that Glascott Landscape and Civil will deliver the McIlwaine Park River Activation Project for City of Canada Bay.

The foreshore upgrade seeks to make it easier to ‘splash about’ in the Paramatta River. Our project team will deliver foreshore access improvements including an all-accessible shared pathway and launch facility so visitors can enjoy kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and other fun water activities. Other features include a beautiful new sandstone environmentally friendly seawall, pedestrian access pavements, timber boardwalks, sandy beach area, picnic amenities, electrical lighting to pathways and substantial soft landscape improvement works to enhance & form the naturalised riverbank from the land into the water.

City of Canada Bay have highlighted the importance of community involvement to ensure the project aligns with the public needs and expectations, “We are committed to working & engaging with the community to create an enduring & beautiful open space where everyone can dip in and enjoy our open river.”

We welcome & look forward to providing updates throughout the construction of this beautiful riverside open space in Brays Bay.
