Progress Update: Googong Oval and Bunyip Park

Our ACT division are well underway on two large projects at Googong township – Googong Oval 16B and Bunyip Park. The projects entail significant detail to provide exciting new active & passive recreation areas.

The sports field will be mixed-use for cricket and rugby league with an adjacent skate park, basketball court, and junior soccer field. There is also a DJ booth with speakers that allows people to plug in their own music via a free wifi hotspot, plus a boardwalk over the adjacent riparian corridor featuring artwork integrated into the timber.

Bunyip Park will host play equipment, shelters, street furniture, seating & terrace walls, and pedestrian lighting along the pathways. Significant planting will be undertaken along with the construction of amenities facilities, car park, sewer & stormwater system.

We can’t wait to deliver these assets for our client Peet Limited the Googong Community.
