Maintaining 500KM of rail lines, 142 rail crossings and 14 rail yards

Marsupial Landscape Management are thrilled to partner with Birrong Indigenous Services to provide landscape maintenance on John Holland’s Country Rail Network.birrong-indigenous-logo-vis-2-300×118

Marsupial has a long and proud history of managing large infrastructure assets. In partnership with Indigenous Participation provider Birrong Indigenous Services, they will deliver a 2 year maintenance contact on John Holland’s Country Rail Network.

The Country Rail Network services government owned heavy rail network in NSW, performing all core operations and maintenance work along with stewardship responsibilities.

Marsupial together with Birrong will manage vegetation control of 142 rail crossing and 14 yards from Narromine to Cobar, and reactive works along 500 kilometres of country New South Wales rail lines.

Marsupial’s Maintenance Manager, Mr Cameron Tracey said,

“We are really excited to collaborate with Birrong Indigenous Services on this expansive contract for John Holland. Our collective aim is to deliver consistent high quality maintenance, ensure rail lines and associated assets are protected and hazards are eliminated.”

Works will commence October 2016.
