Ginninderry gets going

Following completion of Cotter Road last year, Glascott is now focused on the next project for Huon Contractors; Ginninderry Estate Stage 1.

Bound on each side by the Murrumbidgee River and Ginninderra Creek, Ginninderry Estate is a new masterplan community stretching from Canberra’s northwestern suburbs across the NSW border into the Yass Valley.

Early works have commenced on the development with Glascott providing a construction of the main boulevard, streetscapes and some infrastructure.  The scope is mainly mass street planting, irrigation to the boulevard and streetscapes, and installation of street furniture.

Working with Huon Contractors on various of projects over the past few years, Glascott’s ACT Manager, Matthew Elliott said the partnership is forged on a common goal of providing the end client with the highest standard in project outcomes.  “It’s fantastic to be part of this collaborative delivery team with Huon. We look forward to achieving more great results together on the Ginnindery project.”

Stage 1 works are underway with expected completion mid-2019.
